Who we are
bymia (“we”) provides an AI management assistant for content creators, available at bymiapilot.co.uk. For anything in this policy, contact us at hello@bymiapilot.co.uk.
What we collect
Account details you give us (name, email, phone number, social handles), your pricing preferences (rate card), your manager configuration, and payment details processed by Stripe (we never see your card number). If you connect Gmail, we access email data as described below.
Gmail data — how we use it
With your explicit consent we read your Gmail with read-only access to identify brand partnership emails, build your deal history, and draft replies for your approval. We never send email from your Gmail account, never modify or delete your email, and you can revoke our access at any time in your Google Account settings.
bymia’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Gmail data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not use it to train generalised AI or machine-learning models. Gmail content is processed only to provide the features you have asked for, and is shared with third parties only as needed to provide those features (see processors below) or as required by law.
Who processes data for us
We use a small set of service providers to run bymia: Supabase (database, London/EU), Vercel (hosting), Google (sign-in and Gmail access), Anthropic (AI processing of the specific emails and documents the product works on), Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS approvals), and Resend (email sending from your management domain). Each processes data only on our instructions.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while you have an account. Close your account (or email us) and we delete your personal data, including stored Gmail-derived data and revoked tokens, within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (e.g. billing). Revoking Gmail access stops all further reading immediately.
Your rights
UK/EU data protection law gives you rights of access, correction, deletion, portability and objection. Email us and we will act on them. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
Transparency by design
Everything your manager sends is visible to you in your dashboard, every outbound message is logged, and nothing priced is ever sent without your explicit approval.
